Bakery open! Remember to order by 7pm Wednesday for delivery/collection on Friday.

One month in.

I have to start by saying a huge thank you to everyone who has had faith in me and ordered my bread and other goods.  I have been amazed by the support.  Your feedback has been gratefully received and, at times, acted upon.  Please continue to give me feedback - good or bad. I am determined to make the best bread I can and I am continually experimenting, using your feedback as a guide.

As you are aware, I am using a domestic kitchen so a normal oven, fridge and stand mixer.  This has been a challenge as I endeavour to increase the range and quantities.  So, please bear with me, as I become more efficient.

But some good news, I am able to increase the number of loaves I can make so will be introducing a special for week of 4th December - cheddar, black pepper and poppyseed bread.  It is unbelievably delicious with traditional soups and also sublime toasted and spread with rather too much butter.

I have also introduced Nutella Knots this week using a traditional Swedish shaping technique. Usually used for cinnamon buns, this technique ends up very messy with Nutella.  But I hope you agree, the result is most excellent!

A final new product will transport you to azure seas of the Greek Islands, an Olive and Feta Focaccia (i know focaccia is Italian but allow me some poetic license).

So, once again, thank you for ordering and I look forward to seeing many of you on the doorstep.

Lucy x
