Lovely neighbour Tim had one of these as a trial and declared it delicious! So it is now being included on the menu in the lead up to Christmas.
Made with a croissant dough of French butter and flour, the pastry is filled with homemade mincemeat enriched with rum. After baking, a simple icing is drizzled over. This is no ordinary mince pie!
Ingredients: French T45 wheat flour, French butter, whole milk, sugar, mincemeat (brown sugar, rum, currants, sultanas, raisins, cranberries, butter, candied orange peel, almonds, mixed spice, juice and zest of lemon), whole milk powder, yeast, salt, barley malt syrup. Allergens in BOLD. Made in an environment where common allergens are present.
