Much improved with proper-sized tins from Portugal. Bigger, crisper and with perfectly set custard, these are a winner. A classic treat from Lisbon.
My version includes the classic swirled crisp pastry, baked in individual cases. The custard is flavoured with lemon peel and cinnamon sticks.
Ingredients: Whole cow's milk; wheat flour; sugar; butter; egg yolks; cornflour; lemon peel; sea salt; cinnamon. (allergens in BOLD - made where other allergens may be present)
