A Semla (Semlor plural) is a delicious seasonal treat. These cardamon scented buns are traditionally served on Shrove Tuesday in Sweden - but I think we need them now!
An enriched brioche bun flavoured with cardamon. After baking, they are filled with a gorgeous toasted Marcona almond paste, chopped almonds and topped with freshly whipped double cream and mascarpone. Marcona almonds are particularly sweet and buttery.

Ingredients: wheat flour, milk, sugar, butter, egg, almonds, fresh cream, marscapone, yeast, salt, cardamon. (Allergens in bold)
